We are thrilled to announce a major milestone for the Rail Safe Friendly programme! Network Rail Western Route has become our very first PLATINUM partner, an elevation from their previous Gold level status. This incredible achievement highlights their unwavering dedication to promoting rail safety.
The team at Network Rail Western Route, led by Steve Melanophy, has worked tirelessly in collaboration with the Rail Safe Friendly Programme to achieve this prestigious level of partnership. Their commitment will have a significant impact, ensuring the safety of young individuals across 300 schools and colleges along the Western Route, which spans from Paddington to Cheltenham, Bristol, and Penzance.
This week, we had the pleasure of welcoming Steve Melanophy and Andy Phillips from Network Rail Western Route to the Learn Live offices to discuss our ongoing collaboration in rail safety education. During their visit, we were honored to present them with the platinum disc.
Andy Phillips, Programme Manager at Network Rail Western Route, commented, “This recognition signifies a significant milestone in our partnership and is a testament to our unwavering commitment to promoting rail safety to young people.”
Stuart Heaton added, “We are incredibly proud to present the first platinum disc to our partner Network Rail Western Route for their support of the programme. A huge thanks to Andy Phillips and Steve Melanophy for moving up from gold level partners to be the first businesses in the UK to reach platinum.”
