The Rail Safe Friendly Programme has been incredibly active over the past six months, attending some fantastic events like TransCityRail Midlands, the Spotlight Rail Awards, TOCTalk, RIN Glasgow and a Parliamentary Reception at the House of Commons. We’ve had the opportunity to connect with many valuable partners and work towards our goal of delivering rail safety education to every UK school by 2027.
With over 22,000 schools still to reach, our networking efforts continue. Here’s a look at the events we’ll be attending throughout the remainder of 2025:

- Wednesday 4th June: Trespass Awareness Day and Suicide Prevention launch conference at the National Railway Museum, York.
- Monday 16th June: Rail Safety Week First Class Lounge Event at Avanti West Coast, First Class Lounge, Crewe Train Station.
- Wednesday 18th June: Rail Live at Porterbrook’s Long Marston Rail Innovation Centre.
- Thursday 19th June: ‘Parent Day’ Nationwide event.
- Thursday 10th July: TransCityRail South at Twickenham Stadium.
- Tuesday 15th July: Rail Forum Annual General Meeting at Derbyshire County Cricket Club, Nottingham Road, Derby.
- Thursday 11th September: RIN Derby at Derby Arena.
- Thursday 9th October: Annual Conference 2025 – Rail Forum at Doncaster Racecourse.
- Thursday 9th October: TransCityRail Scotland at Murrayfield Stadium.
- Thursday 6th November: TransCityRail North at Kimpton Hotel, Manchester.
- Thursday 13th November: RIN Harrogate at The Yorkshire Event Centre.
