Mead Vale Primary School received the Gold Certificate for Rail Safety after a week of activities aimed at teaching pupils about the dangers of railway lines.
The school’s headteacher and staff said: “Rail safety matters, and our children have shown just how seriously they take it.”
Pupils from Key Stage One and Key Stage Two took part in sessions using Rail Safe Friendly video resources, which explained the hazards of railways and how to stay safe.
